The Shimano 23 SLX Baitcast Reel packs brass gearing, three SUS and one roller bearing into its Hagane Body to ensure smooth functioning and reliable cranking power. Comparable in size to a 70 sized Curado reel, this reel offers a max drag of 5-5.5kg and a line capacity of 150m of 20lb Power Pro. Its two model options – 6.3:1 and 7.2:1 ratios – and 45mm Throw Handle make it suitable for casting at both slow and fast speeds.
