Jackson Athlete 13MDS Lure

The Jackson Athlete 13MDS Lure is the newly designed and deeper diving version of the Athlete 14SS Lure, purpose-built to mimic sardine when targeting species like Seabass and Blueback in Japan, as they require the lure to swim at a certain depth and with a particular action for the best results. In saying that, both the Athlete 13MDS and the Athlete 14SS are both fantastic lures for using in Australian conditions either from the rocks or out of the boat when targeting a range of pelagic species like kingfish, tuna, salmon, mackerel and more. The sinking lure is designed to reach its max depth fast with its incredibly flat bib and indented tow point, all while keeping its tight wobbling action along the way. Two sliding 8mm weights inside the lure allow for extra long casts and ensure the tight baitfish action at any retrieve speed as well. Three #4 trebles hang off the body at key intervals to ensure the best hookup rate on these long 13cm lures (16cm with the bib).
